Our Story

David's is a family owned business with David and Nancy starting David's Jewelers over 30 years ago.  David and Nancy started at Topeka Diamond Shop as a watchmaker, jeweler and manager before starting his own store in 1968.  Through the years, he has passed on the knowledge and skills to his family, with his son, Mark, taking over ownership of the business when David retired over 15 years ago.  Doug, Mitzi and Jedidiah also offer a variety of skills.  There are 4 generations of family at David's with the rest of the family members coming in to help on Christmas break from their colleges and schools.

Our family has developed a tradition of serving families throughout the years.  David would start with a young couple buying their wedding set, through the years the friendship would grow.  Today, we help them select their 50th anniversary gift or a graduation gift for the grandchild.  Some will come in with their sons, daughters and grandchildren to choose their wedding sets.  We would like to thank our customers for their friendship and patronage through the years.

Davids carries fine quality jewelry, clocks, watches and limited edition collectables such as Armani Statues.  We have sports jewelry with our custom made.  Sprinters, Karts, Sports Cars, that were in the Outlaw Hall of Fame.  Chiefs and Collegiate watches, pendants, rings for K-State, KU and Corky for ESU.  We offer in store jewelry, watch and clock repair.

Our Jewelers can create a one of a kind jewelry item from your own unique design.  We carry a large selection of wedding sets, diamond pendants and earrings.  Our Past, Present and Future diamond rings are featured with Emerald Cute, Marquise, Princess, Rounds and Oval diamonds.  There are loose diamonds to choose from for your wedding set, fashion rings and jewelry styles of all kinds.  The diamonds are in all shapes and sizes.

We take pride in our quality diamonds and gemstones at affordable prices.  Our knowledgeable family can assist you with your selections from traditional Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires to the more unusual stones such a Tsavorite, Tourmolines of all colors and Apatite which is a very beautiful blue-green stone.  We have a diverse selection of Opal Jewelry with a large majority of our opals being bought directly from three different Australian families.  We have Black pearls and traditional pearls in strands and in other designed necklaces, earrings and rings.
